The project shows portraits of people using a flashlight to build a Halo behind their heads. This art project deals mainly with the democratization of being a star, VIP or saint in modern society:

  1. Reality shows, weblogs and several applications for the so-called web 2.0 makes it easy for ordinary people to become a sender instead of a recipient.
  2. Brands and images of commercial products give their users the illusion of being a star.
  3. Many religions say that god is part of us. Everybody is divine in a way.
